We’ll make personalized note cards using stitching, collage and stamps creating our own stationery. Then we'll work on writing letters to distant friends and relatives all the while discussing and exploring this ancient art and connecting craft. We'll spend time playing, crafting, writing, and some time too just hanging out and playing in the museum.

This class will provide you with information, tips, tools and creative ideas for making sure you can offer your client families and the children you work with, the most thoughtful, thorough and caring babysitting possible. Want to do a crafting day with your friends but don't want to commit to a series of classes or to a certain day and time? This option puts the scheduling (sort of) in your hands. Choose your project: 1. (up)cycling hat 2. Sun hat 3. t-shirt skirt 4. Birthday crown Get your group together of up to seven adults, set it up, pay the price and, voila, you're got yourself 3.5 hours of a crafty afternoon or evening. And at the end you'll have something really cool to wear about which you can say, "thanks, I made it myself." We even allow drinking on campus.

Girls' Collective Craft Camp Who: Girls ages 7-10 What: One-day workshop Where: 411 W. Monroe Austin AMP (Austin Artists and Musicians Partnership) When: 9:00am – 4:30pm Come and play and celebrate as we spend the morning talking and crafting, sharing and exploring the many things that make us, us. We will ponder our own creativity, material choices and our connection to each other and to nature too. In the morning we will spend a few hours crafting using all re-usable/recycled/reclaimed materials of course! Weather permitting we will have lunch and play and exploration time on the creek at Nicholas Dawson Park on Bouldin Creek. Time permitting we will return to Austin AMP for some games in the beautiful backyard under the giant live oak trees. This one day camp is $65.00 for the day. All materials included. Girls will need to bring their own lunch and water bottle. A healthy snack will be provided. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to AAMP - Austin Artists and Musicians Partnership.

This is the product made with the project featured in our Collective Projects Curriculum. A friend told us she wanted one but she didn't want to make one and would we, could we offer it up for sale as a product in addition to a project. But of course we can!

See it?), patterns for a sandwich wrap and utensil roll/placemat, definitions, sewing tips and dialogue ideas around the topics of recycling, upcycling and recrafting and even a thematic poem!
