Slow Children
March 9, 2009
It’s class day today and we’re thinking with daylight savings and all, our Future Crafters might be a bit more slow and tired than usual. With that possibility in mind, we will hold the idea of a steady 2 hour class lightly. Our intentions will be to meet the kids where they are in all their Monday, daylight savings fatigue. Each of them. Towards peace and serenity, we will give them a little more TLC and a bit more nutritional yeast on their popcorn. If they’re lucky, actually if we’re lucky too, we might even have some little sweet treat for them to hold out as a carrot on a stick. You know in a finish-that-stitch-on-your-tool-apron-and-we’ll-give-you-a-piece-of-dark-chocolate kind of way. So, to sum up our intentions, slow and steady and spacious and snack-filled. That sounds about right.
